Dr.B showing once again that he's one of the best CEOs in the business. Turn up your speakers and I bet the hairs on the back of your neck will be standing up like a 14yr old's boner in a strip club:

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow.

I'd wager that this is the best sounding car on sale. Amazing.

That does sound great, hope that's fully a production model... Should be? What's that got to do with him though? Engineers built the car, designed the noise, the lot smile

He's the 'ideas man' behind the £400k Zagato with no extra performance and the Cygnet. He also drives the race cars at the N24 rather than using a racing driver... Nice hobby smile

From memory of my visit to see the preview 310 the back box is the same as the one-77 to give it a distinctive (and sportier) sound from the outgoing DBS.

Indeed ! First departure from their conventional backbox design on anything other than ONE77 for a while

Oh come on, he's the CEO of the company and is more 'involved' with the engineering and development of the cars than any other CEO.

He also races the cars and gives proper technical feedback from what I've been told. As an engineer myself it's refreshing to see a top level guy like that taking such an interest in the development.

Also, the Cygnet was necessary as we all know, but agree that the Zagato was a folly.

Wow, one of the best sounding cars I ever did hear at idle.

I followed a pre production model whilst on road test of a customer car the other week and it sounded nothing like the car in the vid - kind of makes sense cos the only way to get a car that sounds like that through noise drive by homologation would be the get the tester extremely drunk the night before.

Unless im mistaken and to the trained ear it sounds de-cat'd (missing its secondary / main cats).

first paragraph, a no, second paragraph - have you seen his lap times around Nurburgring??, a rival team in a V8 Vantage went faster with 4 less cylinders. Cygnet - Haven't you read, its a dead duck, not reaching anywhere near any sales volume before its demise to offset fleet emissions, that's before the whole program costing around 17m to develop for only a handful of private sales. Whilst we are at it lets not forget 4 door rapide production tooling and un built chassis's stored somewhere in a warehouse in Coventry. China - biggest market opportunity ever in the history of the auto industry and has no SUV or well received limo to offer - i would say that after the great success of original V8 and V12 the ship has been steered onto rocky ground under his stewardship, the biggest marker being nowhere near the potential sales limit of 10k units per year worldwide - the seat would be better occupied by somebody else, but that's just my opinion.

>sits comforatble and folds arms<

I'd really appreciate you telling me, nay, the whole forum why the Cygnet was necessary - although 'as we all know', perhaps that would be superfluous... but please indulge me smile

Involved yes. In a good way..? Ummm...

Aha, told. By him? Or by somebody who's job would be a risk if he didn't tell you that? Interest, yes. In a good way..? Ummm...

Lovely car that was sent out the door unfinished. For no reason at all. Stick the 310 engine in it and it's arguably worth the money!! Lousy management, edict from the top no doubt - they all are.

Wow, jeez I just tried to post an awesome video. I really don't have the inclination to argue in here, so I'll say okay, you're all correct, I was wrong.

There.

Now... oooh listen to the lovely car!
