I just want to comment on the excellent service from Grant re "the book".

I purchased mine in April just after I bought my DB9 not realising that a new updated version was on the horizon. I admit I was a tiny bit dissapointed when I found out that mine was out of date so soon after buying it. Not a real problem but, you know.

Anyway today, out of the blue, I have recieved an email with an updated version of the book. It was free of charge and was totally unsolicited and unxepected. I have never had an author send me an update before.

Hi Steve and Andrew, thanks for the feedback . I must confess it takes an age to collate and put the information together (particularly as A.M. are continually moving the goal posts and as you know there is a raft of new models being unveiled) so your note is much appreciated. The book will continue to be updated regularly and the PDF updates ensure everyone that has supported the project also gets the same update to the next edition.

I did pop this next bit on the books sticky, but as many don't visit that part of the website I have also popped it below as I thought it was a great outcome and shows the special affect these stunning cars can have on you.....

Grant, I can inform you that since I bought the book, I used it as the perfect research tool for buying my first Aston Martin.

I am now the proud owner of a 2005 DB9 and love everything about it. I got it from AM Cardiff and my mate took me to view it. He was so impressed that he's ended up with a V8 Vantage and we collected them both from the garage at the same time.

Have you chaps been through the Bute tunnels yet its awesome. Took my V8V back and forth through there about 10 times so far. I work just round the corner, if you coming down drop me a PM and I'll join you Congratulations on the cars.
