Aston Martin Vanquish Sat Nav.

Would anyone know where I would find the Sat Nav map CDs for all Europe. The car is an early 2004 Vanquish.

even if i had the maps i doubt i would use the aston satnav. next to useless. a tom tom is much better across europe with traffic and "danger zones"

I stay at your disposal (pls PM) but you must "identify" your navi equipment, at first : most likely the "Volvo" one, as V8V and DB9.

Took one look at the sat nav in my Vanquish and bought a Tom Tom. Don't waste your money get the disks for it, you will end up getting a Tom Tom anyway!

In the not too distant future, I will post detailed instructions on replacing the stock satnav screen with a Tomtom VIA 1605. I'm in the final stages of the project that uses the existing front and back plastic enclosures from the Volvo system to house the Tomtom unit within. The Tomtom unit goes up and down when power is supplied and turned off. I also downloaded the AM logo to the Tomtom unit so that it displays upon startup and shut down. The Tomtom display is almost identical in size to the Volvo display.

Nothing I did can't be changed back to stock at some point in the future. This does add some complexity to the project.
