Wow. That is some serious variations in price. Harwoods looks appealing. I'm in Buckinghamshire though, about 65 miles from them. Will give them a call...

the service schedule is in the manuals, from memory its extra bits like wiper blades and brake fluid change, few extra checksnothing major on any of the Vantage V8 services to be honest, it just alternates between doing a few extra jobs or not
£572 at Lancaster Reading just over a week ago. I didn't ask about collection as I wanted to go to the showroom, but i'm sure they do. I did get a nice new XF as a courtesy car for a couple of days.
And just for the record that price was less than half of what a local independent offered me over the telephone.

The thing with the dealers is they will do everything on the schedule, needed or not....
As an example the schedule says wipers every service or 10k miles...... Well my car has only done 5k since the last service, and I rarely use it in the rain, so why fit new wipers just cos it says so on a piece of paper??
Same with air filter every 30k..... Again my car has only done 20k in total.... So the garage I took it to, removed inspected, said it still looked like new so blew an airline through it and put it back.....
It's this sort of stuff that adds up, and unless you're doing the mileage, is just spending money for the sake of it.....
Obviously other items are very time dependant rather than mileage. Like brake fluid, coolant etc, so it goes without saying these items are replaced
