Hi all
Thought I would join PH, been reading the posts on PH for a few weeks now & picked up a lot of useful info, so I thought I would dip my toe in.
I have a 2007 Aston DB9 with sports pack, its in meteorite silver with black cherry interior. I've had it for about 10 weeks now, its only done 8000 miles, so its more or less like new condition. Had a couple of Porsches previously, but this Aston is something else, much nicer than the Porsches in my view & looks much better!!
Only mod I have made to my car so far is the wipers, I have replaced the std wiper arms & blades for the 2012 MY set up that uses the aero blades. Looks much neater, cleaner & more modern, not a cheap mod but glad I did it. I will probably upgrade the interior lights to LED's, as the standard lights are so dim.
Sorry no photo's need to sort out my digital camera, then I will post some pictures of my car.
I live in the Bristol area, anyone else from the South West? I'm thinking not many as I don't see many Astons around this neck of the woods.

Thanks all for your responses, just been trying to upload some pictures for you, but doesn't seen to work, I think it is the security settings on my computer. I will try sort it out ASAP.
Knobs fine thanks!!! got Standard knobs, not given much thought to upgrading them, is it a worth while mod & how much does it cost?.
The DB9 is great car & a breath of fresh air for me, as I got disillusioned & bored with Porsche, also had loads of niggly issues with the last one I had so put me off so had to get rid of it. The last one, was a new 997 Gen 2 911 2S coupe, dealer response to my issues was also poor.
I've not seen any other Astons with black cherry trim, does anyone know if it was a standard colour or special order?
So far the Aston has been flawless, done about 1200 miles in it so far & I love driving it.

Your car sounds great Gdc, have you had it from new? Yes they are great cars, I want to drive mine more than any other car I have owned, not want I expected, but a pleasant surprise!

I have a 2011MY DB9 volante in meteorite silver over obsidian black and live just over the bridge in South Wales, about 30 miles from Bristol.
Always wanted black cherry interior!
