Following our Email exchange I had a call from a local hard-up farmer 
asking me which one I thought he should buy. Told him your 'plan' and I think He is going along similar lines also. He was a bit miffed that I knew someone taking a Jan delivery...He has been told March at best but He won't be getting the first one at his dealer like some lucky chap I know 
You do realise we will need a meet for me to road test it...now where was that lay-by

Can't afford a Countach sadly, was hoping you were going to buy it then fulfill my childhood dream of letting me have a go in it!

22" rims are just in case you need to borrow the new one John and want to feel at home PS 10mm on the pads eh...1mm down after 6.5k...I must try harder
Were you advised to replace caliper bolts too? Calipers have to be removed to replace front pads I believe and bolt replacement is advised (according to my dealer)
