Who has a problem with high mileage Astons?

These guys get a lot of high mileage Astons in. Over the last few months i have noticed N400's, V8Vs, etc.. all sell fairly quickly, reasonably low prices, and i know a couple have then gone on to AM leeds for the warranty pre checks and done pretty well.

providing its not one which has spent its time being loaned out for track experiance days that is veyr good value for money. A great car, with the right engine (can of worms, etc etc) for a great price.

That would be my major concern, that and what is it with Keighley cars, their stuff is always soooo cheap!

Do a quick search on here and other car forums
I looked at a car they had a while ago and vowed never to return

Going back to the OP's original question - I've no issue with high mileage cars so long as the appropriate care can be demonstrated

I believe I know that car and the previous owner, it was on a private plate and was advertised privately on PH prior to being chopped in for another DB9.

If I am right in the previous ownership (which I feel I am) then the previous owner had it for 3-4 years and did over 50k in it and was his daily driver.

I don't believe he had any issues during his ownership.

One day I'll grab a manual at that sort of money... Being auto though, the engine will never have been overrevved or abused - worth a punt for low-mileage-use keeper but you'd struggle to sell it after its hit 100k I reckon.

Interesting comment. I'm no mechanic; is there any good reason why these cars shouldn't run to 200k miles and beyond?

If this is the car I believe it is then Bamford Rose had a look at it and asked the previous owner if he intended keeping it very long.........

Same as mine, the aforementioned 'doom' blue, the absolute worst to try and keep clean... Looks stunning after Francis worked his magic though.

Of course not... but it will have had every braking and suspension component replaced by then as well as most other moving parts like window motors, drive shafts and so on! Engine probably ticking along just fine...
