Damn- possible coolant leak

JUst had the red triangle warning light up intermittently - It appears that the coolant level is at the bottom of the reservoir. I've topped it up but am a little concerned- has anyone else experienced coolant loss on a v8 vantage?

The car is 5 years old and has only done 15k miles. I presume the fluids have been topped off at service...?

Just keep an eye on it. Was the coolant flushed at the service? If so its probably just blown out some air.

Check the radiator cap is secure as well.... it is probably nothing but keep an eye on it for a few weeks.

What is the correct level for the coolant reservoir?
The handbook is a bit vague, saying to fill to the top, but surely some expansion space is required.

My coolant warning came on two years ago when full to top.It disappeared only to reappear last month.It was full of coolant and turned out to be a faulty sensor easily replaced,maybe not cause for panic.

I have just completely filled the reservoir to the top. I will keep a check on this and see where the level settles to. I see an overflow pipe running into the wheel arch area, I assume there must be some sort of overflow catch tank in there.

Correct, that's where the expansion tank is. Full to the top is correct.
