Where to buy black paint

Hi,

Some of the black paint at the bottom of the wing mirrors and on the rear parking sensors of my V8 Vantage has come away recent weeks and I was wondering if anyone could recommend what paint I should buy to touch this up and where it can be bought?

I'd be wondering why the paint has 'come away' - it's not really normal.
The chances are if you simply touch it back in that too will come away.

Normal = no
Common = yes

Most just clean it up and Hammerite it if not in warranty.

Whilst it isn't a good thing to see the flaking paint it is possible to have the mirror mount removed and re coated.

AM will probably help with this under warranty. Although they will fight and scream and change the laws of chemistry to avoid covering the cost, they will probably help out as a goodwill gesture. I got 30% on a 7 year old car.

(I accept that all goodwill is lost when they do this, but it seems irrelevant to them )

My car is in Lancaster Cambridge at the moment having all the non bodypanel corrosion on the bonnet, rear wing and rear pillar sorted at the moment. The bodyshop guys up there seem to really care and sotted a bubble i had missed. Doing it FOC .
