Vantage 2013

Have just read that there is some urgency relating to the sale of Vantage V8S. Seems to me that in their 100th year AM's best selling model could be getting that revamp that we and others have been discussing.

Roll on 2013.

according to this article on the next 12 months for AM, apart from new rapide which is known and the inevitable vanquish volante, V12Vantage will soon get a new carbon type edition before a no-details as yet 'refresh' for V12V in 2013

If true, does that mean DB9/Vanquish engine for current shape V12V? And if so, from a purely selfish standpoint, will V12VR be replaced almost as soon as it's launched ?

I'd always assumed vantage as a range would be replaced first before any kind of major overhaul for current shape V8 or V12 Vantage, with new shape V8 vantage released first, then roadster, then if they did it, V12 a few years in and V12VR towards the end

I thought the V12V already had a carbon type edition. Namely the Carbon Black edition?

I hope they make it look less tacky than the DBS Carbon Edition.

V12 to get Vanquish engine then? Perhaps new generation V12V to get paddle shifter? Can't see them continuing with just one car with a manual box. Something must be around the corner as all the V12VRs will I understand be built by end of Jan 13 if not before at which time the current V12 V range will cease production. How they are going to sell all the V12 Zags before the introduction of new V12 engines across the range will be interesting .
