Bamford Rose cars .... Jessica, Lance & .....

On our way oop north for the Autumn get-together Rob & I were discussing the names given to cars which have been given the Bamford Rose treatment and we thought that our Vantage S should, like Jessica and Lance, have her own tag.

After some debate we came up with Purdey: a classy lady with an unexpected kick-ass attitude! What do you think guys?

If Mikey K goes ahead with the BR treatment on his S we could have a pair of Purdeys - one with a drop top

We have had Vanquish 1 and now have Vanquish2 . I quite like Molly's suggestion of Purdey. The original was attached to the old Vantage. Chris was of course my first choice!
Any other suggestions? Maybe wait until you have heard it !

Think this one's a bit like my nose - it could run and run . If you want to go darker on the same theme how about 'The Avenger'. Alternatively, Diana Rigg ( Emma Peel, who was also James Bond's ( briefly) only wife in OHMSS) also played Mrs Higgins in Pygmalion - so, for no other reason, 'Higgins' it is Amazing where 30 seconds on Wikipedia leads . Right off to wash a car.
