Vantage window Tint & DB9 Wrap

Well I went ahead and had my windows tinted today, so for those interested here's a few pics of before and after.... Despite looking very dark from some angles.. The tint I chose was quite light, and you will see that when the hatch is open the tint is very easy to see through, but when shut it looks really dark... Same for the 2 small side window, which uses an even lighter film again than the rear window.....
Also included are a few pics of a DB9, getting a Carbon weave Wrap..... Not sure what I thought f that to be honest.... It looked a cracking job, but I'm undecided the type of wrap..... I mean it was a grey car getting a grey wrap....but hey each to their own....
Feel free to make as many positive or negative comments as you wish
no offense will be taken I don't own the DB9...... And as for my car, I did it to please myself and nobody else.....

Like the windows Luna! I think it looks great against the dark paintwork.
That wrap is not as bad as I thought it would look, but I still think it looks pretty awful.

The wrap, is a bit of an odd one.......just seems odd to get a grey car wrapped in grey.. I know it'll give a different look, but to me, if I were getting a wrap, it'd have to be completely different.....like bright orange

Nope to the carbon wrap - other wraps I've seen on here have been better IMO
It's surprising how much tint is already in the side windows and windscreen from the factory.... The chap that did mine estimated that they would be just within the legal limit as standard, and even adding his lightest tint would make them very illegal....Nope to the carbon wrap - other wraps I've seen on here have been better IMO
He's actually runs a proper set up.... Whilst I was there today he was getting calls from customers asking for drivers, and passenger door windows to be done.... He refuses outright....., he said he's heard em all, "it's only a show car" "I never use it on the road" etc etc...... Basically he doesn't want to know...... It's legal, or go elsewhere
I like the tint on the rear window but on the side windows it looks half done with door windows left alone. As long as you like it that's what counts!
That cardon wrap, I thought I wouldn't, but I quite like it! It gives it a texture, the lines defining the shape as you get closer but from afar it just looks satin grey all over. I wonder if the carbon could be done in another colour..

. And he charged me a very reasonable £99.00 for the rear hatch, and the 2 small pieces at the sides...Full receipt given, and lifetime warranty whilst I own the car..
I had a go at doing the wife's Yaris..... Might as well have chucked the money down the drain...made a right pigs ear of it
hence going to someone who knows what he's doing

In this pic for example the difference is hardly noticable...... But from a different angle the small windows look completely black, and yet the film is half the darkness of the rear screen..
The good thing is, the whole job was only £99 quid, so if I want t remove any of it at anytime in the future, it's not a problem..
But I'm going to wait until we at least get some sunshine, so I can make a proper judgement before I do anything

This is the reason why I’d never want to buy a car that’s had a wrap or have one put on my car.
It’s the idea of two chaps with craft blades in their hands (very skilled I’m sure) trimming around the surfaces and crevices of the car. No thanks
To be fair to these 2 chaps, they were extremely skillful, with the way they used the tools. ..... I had a quick chat and they run a body shop in Scotland, and often work on Zondas, Koennegthingys, Lambos, etc etc...To get the DB9 to the stage in the photos had taken 3 men 2 full days...... And they estimated another day and a half to get it completed
