There's only one real way to convince her....buy one!! I did and its the first of my sports cars she's ever liked. Good luck

At the beginning wife was not particularly bothered, but after buying the car, she says "Shall we take the Aston?"

It is always a special occasion driving the Aston.

Great programme - very well balanced too, showing a multitude of different cars - and I have to admit that the Lotus probably just pipped the DB5 in the gadget stakes

I thought the stories about how they produced some of the scenes were excellent !!

They were never going to fit every car in - probably would have been at the expense of other items - but I liked the balance of more 'regular' cars being included rather than just the playboy ones

Bond did indeed drive 2 cars in The Living Daylights.
He drove a Volante up to the safe house, then Q winterises it for him and adds a hard top.
Hammond was therefore correct.

I found it an informative and entertaining programme.

I don't think they made the programme just for the Aston enthusiasts out there and would you ever really expect anything other than lightweight entertainment from Hammond?

Just as the hard roof is being added Q refers to it as a Volante.
After the addition of the hardtop, there is no visible join of crease, damn clever peopple Q branch.
