Clutch replacement advice

The clutch on my manual 06 V8 Vantage needs doing.
I called a few dealers for a quote and got 2 dealers down to the same price.
However one of them is pressuring me to also change the clutch slave cylinder (for an extra £240), stating that they have "on more than one occasion done a clutch and not replaced the slave cylinder to save on costs but the car has come back after a few hundred miles with a failed slave cylinder resulting in the client paying for a complete job again as the new clutch fitted become soiled with fluid."
Other dealer reckons that they "rarely replace these unless the car has covered a high mileage"
My car has done 21k miles, been abused a fair bit and did 2 track days, hence early clutch wear.
So, would it be better to do the cylinder as a precaution?
Or is the 1st dealer just trying to get more money out of me? (bear in mind I drove their initial quote down by £1,200!)

Shirley for the additional cost the peace of mind is worth the extra and a selling point?
We all know the road clutches are weak but the release bearing has done the same amount of work / mileage.
Also if the release bearing fails it wouldnt be covered by the garage who fitted the clutch... double payout as its the same work to remove the torque tube again to replace.
I must add though, I did a clutch on an V8V where the owner did the minimum necessary as he was trading it in once fixed.
