Aston Martin DB5 Shooting Brake

Chris Evans bought himself a Humber yesterday but he was actually on his way to get an Aston Martin DB5 Shooting Brake - that's quite a difference!

Anyway, apparently the DB5 had just sold which is why he ended up getting the Humber. I've not seen a DB5 SB up for sale before. Innes Ireland's DB6 was at RM Auctions' recent sale but I'm guessing that's not as valuable as the DB5.

How many DB5 SBs were made? Guessing they must be worth a fairly substantial amount.

Maybe Chris is looking for English investments after his Ferrari affair?

In one reference I found regarding the DB5 Shooting Brake David Brown sanctioned 12.

From another reference the total number of DB5s built were 1,021 of which 123 were convertables and 12 shooting brakes which were, it would seem, made by Harold Radford as a conversion.
