Admiral Insurance

Also have stated that they will treat those drivers who have attended a speed awareness course the same as those who were penalized with three points. A spokesman said they broke the law and were more likely to do it again, a ringing endorsement for attempting to modify driving behaviour!

Accordong to the General Gassing section, Admiral are also leading the charge to raise premiums if you have been on a driver awareness course
You now have to declare it, just the same as if you had points and they will kindly load your premium to reflect this. Cocks.
From what I've read it does however rely on your honesty as they have no way of checking it.

Good job we are all so honest here eh?

Insofar as it is not endorsed on your license, no. But I am sure there is a record of it somewhere. I wouldn't feel comfortable not disclosing it, an easy way to wriggle out of a payout surely?!Good job we are all so honest here eh?
I have a multicar policy. I usually ring in the evenings, after 8. For the last two years I have been put through to some Canadians. When I have explained that I have managed to undercut my renewal notice with a dummy quote on Admiral's own website, they have both been unbelievably helpful, and binned the renewal notice figure in favour of the lower one without question (in fact, with apparent enthusiasm).

Admiral insurance, what can i say. If you think they are bad trying to sort out insurance cover, wait until you make a claim. On the plus side they made record profits this year as a company!
I had a claim a couple of years ago. Admiral were first class at sorting everything out and the whole experience from accident to settlement was as smooth and efficient as I have experienced with any other insurer. George29 said:
I rang them the other day for a quote on something. The Indian bloke I spoke to was most unhelpful. He was supposed to ring me back yesterday - never happened.
I liked the welsh call centre a lot more. Especially when a woman with a nice welsh accent answered. Love that accent!

They have been using India out of UK office hours and when they are busy for ages
We've dealt with them a lot in the last 12 months
They aligned our policies and set up a multi car on two cars which included a 4 month period where one car was with the dealer on SOR (parital refund given)
They sorted out reinstatement when the new car arrived very well
They also confirmed in writing each driver retains our no claims bonus
We have just recently moved and they were very professional, even giving us a £105 rebate because we have moved to a "better" area even though we are 7 months in to the policy
Mrs K is hard to please, she also likes EDF

Now BT & N Power don't get me started on them

I don't expect to move from them in May if they are competitive
