tiny numbers on speedo digital display, obscured

whilst reaching into my glove box i noticed there are some tiny figures on my digital section on the speedo, to the far right of the left hand section..

i could see a 30 then the rest is completely obscured my the dial bit, what has been seen connot been unseen and all that.. you can't see it when in the normal driving position

what the heck is it?

Are you sure that it's not just a reflection and the 3 could be a backwards E from the MILES display?
