I am about to dip my toes into Aston ownership. Looking at car (2009) from non AM dealer, but what are the options re warranty? Friend in the trade says most astons have a transferable warranty, but how do it check/obtain that?
Any help appreciated.

Manufacturer warranty is 3 years, so for a 2009 car, it will have already, or is about to expire.
If the car has been resold within the last year by a main dealer, an extra portion of insurance warranty (in 3 month portions) might have been included, to provide the buyer with a one year warranty.
You probably know the following, but just in case.
You state 2009 car. Hopefully you are aware of the Aston Martin Model Year basis. If the car that you are looking at is a Vantage, considerable specification changes were introduced in September 2008. Some of the previous cars remained unsold, and were first registered during 2009.
