iPhone 5

As the Pistonheads search function isn't working, could someone tell me how I get my iPhone 5 to work in a 2012 V12V? The bluetooth function is working, so telephone calls can be made/received, but I've got no address book or iPod music functions.

Ditto for the nokia lumia 820. I think it may be the way address books are kept in the phone that prevents sync-ing.

Anyone with other ideas?

I have Rapide 2012 - bluetooth works for address book and phone - but there is no music streaming - so using the cable for that (have not tried the Lightning converter though as I use an iPod for music). Siri works though - press and hold the Phone button on the steering wheel (one it is in Phone mode).

I never realised that the Siri function can be triggered and is very usable from the steering wheel control... I consider myself a bit of a gadget chap so had to go and try it out... That is a very useful bit of info...thank you.

I've just moved from a Nokia Lumia 900 (Windows Phone 7.5) to a 920 (WP8). The 900 sync'd fine but the 920 connects and works OK, but doesn't seem to synch contacts, call-lists etc. I can only think it's therefore an OS thing but will look into this and let you know.

I thought that you were a died in the wool Samsung geezer given the gadgetry that you carry around.

Regarding then Siri, I am about to change to an iPhone 4S on the basis that trying to dial any number on the move in a DB9 is tantamount to a suicide attempt with an iPhone 4; the question is, can you use the voice command when the 4S phone is plugged in to music via Spotify.

Anyone have a clue?

To use the phone as a tracker tag you'll need to call Eurowatch. They'll make the tracker discoverable and you can pair the iPhone to it.

Address book seems a bit hit and miss, sometimes it's there sometimes I just get "please wait" for ages. No music streaming.
