View and Test Drive a V8 Vantage

Just thought that I would let everyone know I have started my viewing and test driving of my short list of V8 Vantages, one of which I am looking at potentially buying.

I have been to McGurks this morning and met a really nice man called Matt who was a pleasure to talk to.

So I took the below 2007 V8 Vantage out for a test drive. What a fabulous experience. I now know what everyone on here is talking about when they talk about their cars.

I can’t wait to pick my car then all my dreams will have come true all at once.

I went to McGurk first when I test drove a vantage. They had some cracking examples back then too.
I ended up buying elsewhere but in retrospect I'd have been better paying that little extra for a lower mileage, better condition, better warrantied car.

Matt is a nice chap and their techie Steve knows his stuff.
Good place to purchase a used AM from.

yes I did, but only for a moment, as my whole attention was drawn to the V8 I had come to see

I didn't buy this car,however I have been to Stratstone in Derby today and purchased the Mendip Blue V8 Vantage I have mentioned in another thread. It is absolutely lovely.

If anyone is interested in the McGurk car, it is better in the flesh, so to speak, and the images really do not do it justice.

I didn't buy this car, but the colour and the car are very nice. The image is of the McGurk car I test drove the other day.

Stunning car. Basic question; are they all 2 seats? Not really looked into these so far and I have the 911 now but they are lovely looking things.

I take it your the guy that machined his own knobs and replaced them, which if I remember correctly looked very nice. If you are the same guy, I didn't think you were making anymore anyway??

still making them....along with personalised sill plaques....at a guess you would only need the stereo and sat nav knobs...
