DB9 service Bournemouth

Best do it yourself .....

Doing it yourself is a surefire way of knowing its actually been done as opposed to someone wiping a oily rag over your engine cover and telling you ............

I live in Fareham and work in Ringwood and also looking for a good local Independent for servicing etc. I have Harwoods in Chichester as the closest main dealer but I would prefer a recommended independent.

I've used the main dealer in Chichester and very pleased with the service. But the next one it already booked with BR for end of Feb plus some bits and bobs to get a few HP gains

I cannot beleave that there is not a decent garage around in this area who can look after these cars with care.

Ray, welcome to the AM forum it is always nice to meet new people on here and give them help and advice. So here goes....... Pictures, it is a requirement that any new car or new member introduces themselves by posting pictures, bank details, mother's maiden name and obviously date of birth. I can't advise on an indy in that area, you may have to travel if you don't want to use Harwoods.

My car was previously looked after by them from new until this year and they did a pretty decent job.

Hello, I use Harwoods at Chichester for servicing and warranty work. They've not given me any problems as of yet. Nigel there is the man to talk to, say hi from me.

Okay thanks for that, I had a Vette but had trouble with a dealer in Southampton so much so I sold the car, I therefore wanted a local independent garage for the Aston, at present it is at Stratstones London lots of money but hopefully know what they are doing, accelerator having at times a stutter when talking by wire to the engine!, fixed soon I hope.

I'm sure they'd have a stab at it, but they are specialists on Ferrari/Maserati - and do a wonderful job done there. I never let anyone else touch my Maser but them

If you're prepared to come to London, then you've got Trinity Engineering on the A3 at Cobham and Nick Mee's in West London. Both knowledgeable establishments

Think you might need a new throttle potentiometer..?

And please don't try and service your car yourself unless you're an Aston Martin trained technician
