V12V Radiator Hose Failure

Just driving my newly serviced V12V (14 months old), when the radiator hose clip failed and the hose blew off the radiator, dumping nearly all the coolant onto the road in clouds of steam. Luckily managed to stop in time so hopefully no damage. Anybody else had problems with Radiator Hose Clips?

No and not heard of any. Funny it's just come from a service and it fails!

Unlucky Kevin, no, I've not had this issue either. Good luck with getting it sorted!

This was an issue on past Aston's, and the clip was part of a recall or TSB to be carried out during the next available service.

The exact same problem where the bottom hose clip would blow off.

Some searching might dig up information, though I;d have thought this to be an isolated case, there may be a new issue with another batch of clips.

Great News - The Little Devil is back and in fine form - no lasting damage. problem appears to be a faulty rad hose, so the clip could not be closed around it properly and grip. replaced with a new hose and clips.
