Boring question...but need advice

I’m thinking of going down the DB9 route but have one concern.

I work away from home during the week and fly back home on a Thursday or Friday returning usually the following Monday or Tuesday. Will the DB9 be liable to suffer the dreaded battery drain being parked up at the airport for say 5 days at most? I really don’t want to be worrying about being let down when I pick the car up to travel to work.

Also if it is an issue is the solar charger a viable option?

Only if you have an old battery on it's way out. I have left my V12V parked for 3 weeks without issue in December last year.

Mine is a V8V but 5 days should be fine, I think the same as many of us who use the car at weekends only. Even with the tracker, I think 3 weeks is about the time you can start to worry about battery drain.

Leaving an Aston in a car park for 5 days?? Thats asking for trouble. Why not use
an everyday euro box and keep the 9 for best?

I don't think it will be an issue, seen a few exotics parked up at the airport. The fact is the car will get more use while I'm working away from home due to me travelling to other offices etc..

I also stay in a decent hotel when away and the car park is quite safe. Of course I also have the option of taking the car back home at the weekend to enjoy a bit of a spirted driving.
