I'm currently keeping a very close eye on the classifieds, eBay and Autotrader, on the off chance that I spot a likely candidate for an upgrade....

Now it's against my religion to buy from a dealer, but even I accept, that to get the car I want, I may have to go down that route...... So why can't they get their adverts right

I spot something that ticks most of my boxes, and then find out that the most basic of info is wrong.....

Cars advertised as Manual.... Great, ring up, oh it's a sportshift sir
Cars advertised as 4.7.... Ring up... Oh it's a 4.3 sir
Cars advertised as a coupe... Ring up..oh it's a roadster sir...

I had the same. Year, colour etc. in the end I reckoned they were doing it on purpose to draw calls.

They are car salesmen after all. Some of the stunts in the PH Classifieds should get them binned.

I have a manual 2010 4.7 V8V (6700miles) with sport pack in meteorite silver + black and it's a showcase model with every extra. It will go to HWM for sale or return on Weds.......

Im sure a care like that will sell in a heartbeat, but It's the exact opposite of what I'm looking for

Will not consider any shade of grey, silver, black.... Or black interior....

Hence my search will be a long one... But no rush...I just wish some of the folk selling, knew what they had for sale.

I've been looking for a TVR Tamora for ages, and my absolute ideal spec one is for sale at a dealer near me. Had a test drive and absolutely adored it, but it means selling my S3 and taking a fairly substantial hit if I want it. Plus I'd have to buy a van for my bikes. Can't decide what to do!
