Considering Vantage roadster, few queries...

I owned a Vantage coupe a couple of years ago and am now considering a 4.3 roadster. I saw one yesterday and although the car seemed in very good condition, there was a gap in the rubber roof seal on the driver's side about an inch long where it meets the wing with the roof up - about a foot back from the drivers door. There was no gap on the passenger side. Is this normal? I checked the inside of the roof and that seemed perfect.

The car also graunched slightly when going into second gear from first when cold - but felt much less stiff than I remember my 2005 coupe feeling. The car has covered only 15,000 miles. Clutch felt ok, pedal travel normal...any thoughts?

Certainly dont remember a gap on mine. Mind you i didnt think they were the stiffest cars in convertible form personally and 18 months ownership was enough for me.

The rubber seal on the roof should seal back down on the tonneau
