STB-Mrs Yeti bought me lunch at Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester today. I bought her tickets to Cirque Du Soleil at the Albert Hall for the Valentines matinee... Lovely walk through Hyde Park in the sunshine between the two. All in all, a great day

Vegas is the place for Cirque but I've also been in the UK and it was still very entertaining

I've been well taken care of too - 9th anniversary on Monday but I was in London with Lisa (Rob's lovely daughter). On my return on Tues, 12 lovely roses, nicely arranged ( but the fact he had really missed me was the best bit!). This evening Rob has done a super 3 course dinner (courtesy of M & S
) + champagne, +chocolates from Gaydon!
I think the highlight of his day was the sun coming out so he was able to pamper Purdey with a personal valeting service (any excuse to caress her curves)
Yesterday I packed the missus off to a Michelin Masterclass morning working in the kitchens of the Auberge du Lac, the only Michelin star restaurant in Hertfordshire. Kind of our regular place for a slap up feast and we know the chef fairly well. Then we enjoyed a lovely lunch together to eat some of the dishes that she had helped to prepare. They even called her back to the kitchen during the meal to cook an additional course of scallops which she cooked to perfection. She now has her own chefs whites to wear.
So to this evening and I come home from work to a three course dinner of wonderful dishes that she had learnt to cook yesterday. What a wonderful treat. That and a bottle of Chateau Cantermerle 2000 and it has been a memorable day, all started off with my tradition of giving each of my young girls a red rose when they wake up.
It's nice to have people to care about and that care about you
