V8 Vantage brake light

Hi all.
Went for a drive in the sun today, cleaned the V8V again and then put her away.
A bit later on, I walked past and noticed that three of the LED's in the centre rear brake light were still on. (but faintly)
Anyone know what's going on?

My answer is no, but it is almost the same on my Vantage.

In my case, it is the offside three LEDs (of the centre brake light) that faintly remain on. I can only see they are illuminated though, when in complete darkness.

I did mention this in advance of the last service, and the dealer ordered a new light, but it was not fitted (perhaps because I said I was not really concerned, if too time consuming to fit that day). Thinking about this afterwards, I wondered if perhaps it might not be the light unit at fault, because how would electricity even reach the light, when no one is pressing the brake? Apart from being able to see the faint glow in the dark, I know the brake light works normally, with all LEDs illuminated, therefore I am just ignoring it.

I first noticed it about a year ago.

When I raised this matter on the forum, a contributor wondered if I bought his car (no), because his had this fault when he sold it. So that probably makes at least three now.

I think this has very recently been covered in another thread, I suggest you go back some pages and see if you can find it, iirc then it is quite common?

Mine had exactly the same, except it appears to be intermittent. I've just left it alone.
