Ventureshield?

I am considering having the complete front end of my V12 Vantage protected (before the Welsh Run) - my questions are:-

1/ Is Ventureshield the best product? (seems to be some conflicting information and opinions on other forums regarding the "new Ventureshield" is not as good as the "old")
2/ How good are the V12 Vantage templates? (fit around the bonnet louvres etc.)

It looks like Durable/Autotint of Altrincham have done quite a few Astons - anybody on here used them?

Stratstone Derby are coming back to me on Monday about this. Apparently they have arranged for another V12V to be done tomorrow. I was keen to confirm that the Carbon Splitter was protected. They are quoting £600+ vat for the front end.

IFIRC I was quoted £900 (inc VAT) by my nearest Ventureshield approved fitter (not Durable) full bonnet, mirrors, front bumper (splitter?) but only partial wings - I would be interested in the result if you see it (and who did it) - Derby is as close as Altrincham for me.

Had mine done by Paintshield in Peterbororugh. Even did the bonnet slats as part of the kit. Very comprehensive and a lovey job. Did 2 other cars for me previously so I am obviously a happy customer. Take a look at the website and watch what the film will put up with and I will not buy anything else. No connection with them other than as a client.

3M (venture shield) has a few levels to their kits my S has had the full V12V and full bonnet kit on for 18 months now
No issues and very durable
Make sure you get the paint sorted before you put it on

The guys at paint shield are very good. Just be careful the people installing it don't scratch at swirl up the paintwork while putting it on. I couldn't falt the guys who stratstone derby use.

Pretty sure they use Autotint. They did mine and were excellent. You just have to look at their Facebook page to see how many Astons they do.

Paddy is right about needing to take care to avoids swirls and scratches underneath so choosing the right people to apply Ventureshield is very important.
