Evening all, been browsing the forum for the past few months so thought its about time I introduced myself.

I picked up my first ever Aston on Christmas eve last year and don't think I've stopped smiling since! The car is a 07 registration Vantage, 14k miles, purchased from Stratton Motor Company who also supplied it from new to the original owner and have carried out all work/servicing on the car to date.

I'm hoping to make it along to some of the forum meets this year if you lot don't mind a 'newbe' tagging along. Currently based just east of Norwich in Norfolk.

The required photo of the car is below, for the 007 plate dislikers you will be pleased to know the car is waiting on the paper work for a new plate coming through! Once this arrives the front number plate holder will also be coming off.

One last thing, does anyone know how much louder the Bamford Rose full exhaust system is over the stock items?

On the question Of BR.s exhaust sound . you retain the standard silencer, you gain about 40 BHP and an exhaust note that is Bloody Awesome and totally switchable. It is a must do!!!!

Do you get your servicing done at Stratton as well Tony?

I'm at Stalham.

Got to be the Combine Jockman, they spend less time on the roads.

Originally from Newcastle so still getting used to sharing the roads with so many tractors!

Ah, that car looks familiar. I remember looking at it when I was on the hunt. I ended up going for one with an iron ore interior. (The grey/black combo was a bit too 'suicide' for me). wink

But I was so impressed by the impromptu tour of the Stratton facilities (and the One-77 being put back together!), that mine is going to go there for its TLC. I'm based just up the road.

Wow an Aston in Stalham. When I rented a house there in the early '80s the most modern car in the village would have been something like an Austin 7!! "Welcome to Stalham please turn your watches back 30 years" jester
