Today went back to generation amr and had a few words with David Appleby , i found him to be very knowledgable and friendly , put my DBS up onto his ramp and advised about new anti-roll bars for tha car and pointed out some very useful info....found a small oil leak , promply removed the bottom tray and tightened the offending bolt to it's correct torque.....and whats more refused any payment even though it was there for over an hour....a real scholar and gentlemen and i would reccomend a visit and chat to see what magical things he could do to our cars.....and his hourly rates aren't bad either.!!!am seriously thinking of having some cats and manifold work done by him....the only downside to it all....my new blue pit lane trainers/shoes didn't fit on one foot.....so i now have some orange ones.....but will be handy i think for the long drive to Geneva and back....once again highly reccomend a vist and chat....
GenAMR used to service my car when they were based down here in the southwest. I always got great, and very reasonably priced, service from them.
Plus David is a really good bloke, just don't call him Slaphead. Sorry, that's an in joke, but if you do visit them have a look at the registration numbers on all their vehicles

Also been back to GenerationAMR today. To follow up on their offer of a health check on my Gearbox/Differential, when I was there on the open day, last week.
I had been advised by "experts" that my "Differential was faulty" could not be fixed and required a £6-8k Gearbox replacement!
So it was great to get a second "Expert" opinion, especially when that opinion was "NO ISSUES" with the differential or gearbox! (Must have fixed itself with all the hard driving I have been doing since)
Also had the gearbox oil changed and will be going back for a full annual service to be completed.
Thanks to James & David for their time this morning and also Erica for the coffee.

i will ask my numerous contacts and report back to you....i phoned you the other day...you were too busy...apprantly trying on wellies...Can't you just get the 22" in white in, say, a Georgian style ?
