VANTAGE 06 CLEAR BACK LIGHTS WANTED

hi, first time on here so please be gentle lol this is my second vantage and the first of which had clear rear lights which i really liked, i didnt have them fitted but bought them already on the car, i have seen dealer offers in 2012 looking back etc and some boasting of £600 fitted :-) and occasionally some on ebay,mostly minus any warranty. can anyone recommend somone where i can get them as cheap as possible as really keen to replace mine if possible, thanks for your help in advance :-)

thanks for the heads up, have contacted the seller on ebay.bit concerned as some say you need software patch and so may need dealer to fit them ,if not then may can do it myself or with help.i have an 06 vantage, any ideas ?

Can you use a socket set? Do you own a socket set? If you answered yes to both then do it yourself. Shouldn't take more than 30 mins. Undo 3 nuts either side, disconnect plug & refit new one.

No software needed, dealer myth!

I can't see the led strip for the tail gate in the e-bay picture, shouldn't there be one? If that's a really obvious error on my part, sorry.

sold with out the boot light....£30.00 from a dealer will soon sort that....

Yes there is. The car just needs to BR told that the bulbs (and therefore the bulb failure warnings) are being replaced with LEDs if your car is old enough; according to Chiltern Aston anyway. My 06 needed.

When I had mine fitted, it has to be done via the 'workshop' rather than the 'bodyshop' because of this.

Can't see them lying about it

hi tony, thanks for that, i think you are right, its a gamble but worst scenario is you get a warning light about bulbs,not as if they bulbs themselves wont work

ok, the saga continues, does anyone know if there were any changes made to the vantage rear set up from 06 to 09 as apparently these lights came off an 09 model...discuss lol

My 05 has LED rear lights, don't they all?

all were led lights....and by the way...i'm the seller on e bay for those lights....also have listed 09 centre console..(new shape)...as well

Mines a 55 plate, Stratstone assured me it wouldn't work without a reflash. They were wrong. Plug & play, don't get suckered in.
