Look pretty good to me, even at 20". What do you guys think? No connection to seller, BTW.

Sport pack wheels are good because they at forged and light weight (bonus is they look good wink )
These make no mention of forging
I'd want to know the weight difference with and without tyre
On the basis of weight alone I'd not touch them

They look awful and only advertise the fact you couldn't afford sports pack wheels. I'd avoid.

Speaking of alternatives to the Sport Pack wheels, these ones are made by the same company who manufacture the OEM wheels. Apart from the bolts on the inner surface, they look pretty similar to me:

Rimstock Le Mans:

Sport Pack:

I have just bought a set of new 19" "gen 1" Sportpack wheels for my V8VR for £2300 from Stratstone Wilmslow.

I can t therefore see the point in buying heavier, aftermarket, arguably less good looking wheels & actually pay more for them !!

Good point...... You'd also have to go to the expense of 4 new 20" tyressmile

Was that a special offer or is that the RRP? Did they swap the tyres or just supply the wheels?

You know they (Rimstick, not the ebay advert) make Jag wheels, XKr etc...
I'd like to know if there is any evidence of inferiority.

confused (again).

Not sure what you're getting at - Rimstock manufacture the Aston Martin OEM wheels (as well as Jag, Alfa Romeo, Lotus and lots of others).

Which wheels are you saying are 'inferior'?

the 2300 I paid was via an ebay listing

I believe there are other listings for 2700 which get no bids - if you call and offer them 2300 I cant see why they wouldn't accept

I think the sport pack wheels dont look that special.

These wheels are definitely nicer looking.

Pity there arent more alloy wheel variety for astons.

Reading the american aston forums give me the sense that they embrace aftermarket alloys.

Maybe us brits are just too stuffy (or perhaps a wee bit too old).
