Hi guys, have done a search but couldn't find what I wanted. My DB7 has a Quicksilver centre section already fitted and I wondered if any of the specalists do uprated manifolds/cats that would comliment this. Would also be interested in knowing about free flowing heads or anything that will improve the car but not ruin resale value or make her unreliable. Cheers

As far as I know, there is nothing out there! I wonder how hard it would be to source a pair of DB7 GT heads..? That'd get you up to 435bhp from 420bhp.

BR said they'd make a set bespoke for anyone who asked but the costs for a one off / limited run are very prohibitive, same with a potential Vanquish system, not enough demamd.

It's a tough one, that engine has so much more to give and the brakes are very good.

Im no expert but surely the DB7 are not a unique casting? It doesnt seem to make a lot of sense development wise. They will be modified standard heads no? Or at least a common casing to something else.

I have a paire of 200CPI sport cats found new two years ago on ebay and according to Chiltern Aston they give a power increase.Haven't seen any more of those for a while, the cost for the pair was around 770£ at the time. Not of great help I know.

The DB7 manifolds are already of decent design, far better than the standard DB9 items.

I'll post pics later of the DB7 manifolds Vs the DB9 and you can clearly see the differences.

Cats will help but may need the ECU adjusting to deal with the new values monitored by the sensors.

HP isn't always the answer though, torque is far more usable and rotational mass gets in the way, so having the engine rebuilt with lightened crank, rods and pistons and all finely balanced will reap better rewards than any bolt on mod.

Also if aesthetics are not of concern you can wrap the manifolds and shield the inlet paths to keep the incoming charge as cool as possible.
