I've driven that car. Good video. Interesting his opinion changed after a day of use.

Hardly green, isn't it? Suits the new Vanq extremely well!

still only an aston newbie, so apologies in advance,

but isnt the new Vanquish a wee bit ugly. The DBS for example is stunning, however the vanquish looks like it has loads of nasty
aftermarket bits bolted on? especially that terrible bumper.

Sure compared to other marques, its still stunning, but compared to to other astons not quite so sure.

This is what's called an 'opinion'. Others may share your opinion, others may not.

In terms of beauty, I don't think the DB7 has been bettered in recent times. In terms of best looking, I think it's Vanq 1.

In terms of modernity, the Vanq II has it nailed yes

Those are my opinions smile

I would have thought it is Appletree Green as it looks too bright and green for Hardly Green. Test drove a Virage sometime back in that colour. Stands out in town but not in the country roads of Devon smile

Sounds a bit obvious maybe, but the colour choice on the new vanquish makes more of a difference than normal for me. That green in the video looks very good.

Completely agree. I've seen a lot of the new Vanquish out here in Doha and Dubai, in some great non-traditional colours, and the more I see it, the more it I like it less. I thought it was spectacular at first but it just looks too fussy for my liking. The DBS has a simple elegance about it but unfortunately that didnt carry through to the new Vanquish. I'd still have one though!!!

Nope havent seen it in the flesh, and to be fair in different colours it does look pretty good.

However in every single picture the front bumper looks terrible. Doesnt seem to be part of the car. A wee bit
Southend on sea im afraid.

You need to, seriously! It is totally different when you see it in person, you barely notice the splitter and when you do, it looks like it is supposed to be part of the car.

That green test car is stunning, the best 310quish I have ever seen. A genuine 'wow' moment from me cloud9

DB9 is the most beautiful car ever made. Non-Aston owners aspire to own one like no other model in the range.

Once you're in the range, I feel people aspire to the DBS or the V12V, Virage, new Vanq etc...

Only my opinion... wink

I like that green and agree with his comparison.
They do seem to be very colour sensitive though.

I think it was a little unkind to draw comparison with the old Vanquish; a car long out of production.

The switch gear comparisons were irrelevant for that reason.

Should the car on the track alongside, have been the DBS that it replaces?

It would have been fairer to compare to a post 2006 Vanquish with the DB9 style dashboard / switchgear.

Early Vanquish I Vs Early Vanquish II scratchchin

Shame they couldn't do a very late Vanquish S, much more car, but then no longer the comparison they are looking for.
