Hi,

I have a 2005 DB9, (just upgraded the disc to 2012) and other than go into "Itinerary" I cannot find a logical or easy way to cancel the previous Destination...... am I missing something ???

Best Regards

Hi mines the hard drive version but I have to go into the itinery to cancel any destinations by selecting clear itinery.
If there is another way I have not found it yet!

You can delete old entries, go up on the destinations page (whatever it's called), select the old destination, press right, select delete.

Bloody stupid interface though, sometimes when you do "set destination" it clears the old one, sometimes not...

You use a paper map to get yourself to Trinity Engineering and ask them to swap the piece of crap out with a state of the art TomTom or Garmin in the same place and hey presto all your problems are solved and you have a REAL satnav smile

Or

You do as I do, and plonk your existing £100 quid Garmin, directly on top of the original Sat nav hatch, and use that insteadsmile

Is this similar to the bloke who had his Volvo nav unit replaced with a third party unit in New Zealand? I'd be very interested in getting some kind of TomTom system (with HD Traffic) into my car without having to have a separate unit as I do currently.

The itinerary thing is right load of old cock - whoever came up with it I'd like to have a word with.

For example, the first time I put somewhere in, off I started and it was showing the right way; 30 miles to your destination it said, you will arrive in 18 hours !! What ???

Then I worked out it was taking me to Germany, via Bridge Mill Motors in Maccelsfield. Very clever.
