wow,
Just ringing around to get service quotes as my 7 year service is due in june ish time, might be july actually, i should check.
Terrible attitude, assumed i was ringing on someone elses behalf, took 3 mins of ringing before anyone picked and and refused to do a service on my car unless i had the spark plugs changed (my cars got 10k on it)
Didnt even take my reg, or car details, just it was a v8 vantage and it was a 7 year service. Yeah you can probably work out the price but surely data capture, upsell etc would say take some details.
Id be shot at dawn if i spoke to my customers like that.

I would of thought Phil will give you a good deal at Wilmslow? I will definitely call him when mine is due
Ill get a good deal from wilmslow thats for sure, i just wanted a bit of a price comparison so if i needed it id have a bartering stick if you know what i mean lol, it was always going back to wilmslow :P
Really surprised to hear you had a bad experience with them, I have always found them to be very helpful indeed.
Maybe it's just a girl / girl thing... I know how you ladies do seem to struggle to get on with each other from time to time!
Seriously though, I would suggest you give them another call and ask to speak directly to Mark Hill (AM Brand Manager) and explain what happened. He's a very decent chap and I'm sure would want to know if there was an issue in his team and I am sure he would be keen to resolve to your satisfaction.
That said Im pretty sure they do read this forum from time to time anyway.

Had a similar unhelpful telephone conversation with them about my car. Just wanted to confirm it’s service history (They had supplied and serviced it for the previous owner, 4 stamps) and they wouldn't give me the time of day!
Bear in mind there will probably be are data protection act issues here - I guess you cannot just divulge information about previous owners buisness transactions, depsite the fact you own the car now.

from the story Mrs K got out of her
Anyway I am surprised you got a poor response from JCT

Do you feel the need to go to an AM dealer?
Why not go to Bridge Mill who are close to you?

I get really cross about stuff like that. I spend all day every day working on customer experience and satisfaction.
I think everyone else should too.
I agree with you, but find good sensible service by telephone today, is unfortunately very rare.I think everyone else should too.
I refuse to telephone anything that might be a call centre. Instead, I send an email, which produces a written copy, saves me wasting time, and is good for blood pressure.
However, with all three Aston Martin dealers I have dealt with (not JCT600), my customer experience and satisfaction has been excellent.
I enjoyed the recent humerous forum comment by a PHer who said, "My dealer is just 3 miles away. I drive 70 miles for servicing".

Regardless what people say full AMSH is worth its weight in gold, wether it be good will contributions, discount, better px price or better value when it comes to selling privately. Forum folk might not mind the likes of BR etc but joe bloggs would.

I'm afraid that is quite typical.I get really peed about stuff like that, i spend all day every day working on customer experience and satisfaction. I think everyone else should too
My misses is a well respected senior engineer in the post production industry.
The number of times she gets baulked by "girls" at suppliers who assume that she's in the same lowly situation as them is too numerous to mention (except it obviously isn't as I'm doing it now).
After she has explained in no uncertain terms that they'd better shape the f
k up and show some respect they normally behave. I should say that the "wrong" side of my misses is a very dark place to be.You can't blame the Aston brand for this it's more about conditioning that is endemic and (controversially) the worst perpetrators are those from your own sex. I may be wrong but I'm prepared to bet that 98% of Aston owners are men. And that 5% of them have female secataries that organise their s
t for them. Now if you drove a Honda Jazz or a Nissan Micra I bet you'd get a different response.
Sorry, but rightly or wrongly that is the way it is.

If 98% are male, Pedro, what % are female....and where does Yeti figure in all this ??
