Thinking of maybe keeping the car in a place that has no power supply to plug trickle charger.
How long before total discharge? As in not being able to start it up.

Ty in advance.

Read somewhere about 3 weeks as a minimum time but will depend on age of battery, ambient temperature and residual usage (tracker, immobiliser, etc). HTH

It's in your manual Erics but mine is about 25 days in the DB9 with full tracker on but you can double that without a tracker.

I've never used my charger and you KNOW how long my hols are yes

Bincenzo only gets 3 weeks because he always has his straighteners on in his car smile

My hair accessories are indeed well used, although I'd guess that they draw considerably less current than the defibrillator and stena chair lift that's fitted as standard to any DB9..... wink

If you are storing the car, why not disconnect the battery. A good fully charged battery with no drain on it should hold enough charge to start the car after several months. Obviously the windows, seats and radio would need reset on recomissioning.

Thanks everyone. Yes car has tracker which does not help. Was thinking maybe of fitting a battery isolator like Porsche did on my 993.. Can only assume Aston eill charge a kidney for that.

It has a battery isolator switch in the boot behind the panel on the drivers side.
