DB9 Running Costs
Discussion
Chaps,
Would any one be kind enough to give me a rough idea of annual running costs of a DB9 Coupe?
Please assume 3,000 miles per year and car to be services through an independent garage.
Please assume ownership for 5 to 10 years, ie running costs to include items requiring attention intermittently, e.g. belts, tyres, clutches, engine work.
Many thanks indeed!

Depreciation is generally your biggest cost, though at £40k a lot will have already been accounted for.Would any one be kind enough to give me a rough idea of annual running costs of a DB9 Coupe?

Servicing MUST be done pa (unlike your porsche) with cost from circa £600 to £950 inclusive of MOT, depending on minor / major.
Tracker £250 pa if required. AA membership £82 pa if required. Warranty £1,500 pa if required.
17 mpg, rising to 450 mpg if I'm driving

Tyres £275 each (I get 3 years out of mine), pads £250 per pair at a Dealer (I get 3 years out of mine).

Jesus Jockman 17mpg......I get around 12-14mpg
If you purchased a second hand DB9 for say 50k then I would expect to loose 15-18k on depreciation and servicing/repairs to cost £1500 per year......so including insurance and fuel over 3 years expect it to cost you 10k/year
If your main concern is cost after purchase, then I would advise you get a car that has had its coils done. It cost me £1600 for doing this at BR last year. I do about 3k miles/year in mine and I had the brake pads and discs done in 2010 and new tyres in 2011. So, including MOT and servicing at main dealer apart from last year, the total amount for the past five years has been 6k and the obc says 17.8mpg. 22mpg is easily acheivable at a steady 70 on the motorway.
In comparison my recently bought C63 is only acheiving 12mpg tho its v early days.
I would advise you to buy an early model DB9 as they are at the bottom of the depreciation curve - at just over 30k - I may be tempted to sell mine!PM me if interested
