Gravel Rash from the Weekend?
Discussion
Sukh's just asked me what to use to remove some of his memento's from the weekend
A fair few of use like and use Chipex and ironically they currently have a sale on!

Those like cockers that see them as battle scars ignore this thread

Oh Dear! Poor Purdey is starting to look as though she has been campaigned in quite a few wars. All we be sorted at the end of the season with some fresh paint to the whole front end plus a good coating of cling film. Guess who has offered me a very favourable price? Mike @ Bamford Rose!
Mine looks like it was in close proximity to an IED. I knew following Cockers was a bad idea, on many levels.....
A bone question, but the Tungsten on Chipex site is +97, am I correct in thinking that's the year it came into manufacture? Ie, is this the one for my 06 V8V?

Sorry Nick it won't work on pheasant damage
Were you of the opinion that it would somehow bring the bird back to life, Mr K

Is it some sort of miracle potion?

no more your grillThough you missed a trick - CliffAML would have cooked up the pheasant for you
I believe Jockman thinks the Chipex is a miracle potion
Pah, pah and thrice pah. Paint is meant to be chipped off. Have you ever seen a Le Mans car at the end of the race?
One day I will ventureshield / clingfilm the car (or whatever you call it), but not for a long while and not until I have finished buggering about with the looks of the front end

So by your logic they only bother to paint the Le Mans cars just so they can chip the paint? Not to make the car look good, or protect the metal/carbon underneath?

My logic is impeccable. Yours makes zero sense; one series of events does not lead to the other.
Do you think they paint the cars to protect the structural carbon fibre shells?
