Discussion
My MY07 DB9 has developed a few gremlins recently.
First, there is a warning beep when I turn the ignition on. The same beep happens again when I start the engine. The beep is coming from the rear passenger side of the car, and it lasts about a second. There is no associated warning message.
Second, the passenger door window is completely dead which means that I cannot close the door properly. This happened once before, and I assumed that the fuse had blown. However, simply disconnecting the fuse reset the door, and everything worked fine. My problem is that the fuse is in the passenger footwell and is awkward to get to. Is it easier to disconnect the battery, or would this create more problems than it would solve?
Third, I keep finding that the wing mirrors are in the wrong position. I think that the problem happens when I change from reverse into drive.
Any ideas?

On my car there is a setting to dip the mirrrors on selecting reverse gear, they go back to normal once out of reverse. Very cccasionally they don't come back up again. You could try turning the option off for a while and see if the mirrors work as they should.
A battery disconnect might reset the door module, I had to do this to get the clock to pick up the correct time from the sat nav. I had no problems afterwards, except I had to reset the electric windows to make them work properly, it's in the handbook.

The door modules control windows, mirrors and locking so as a guess this is probably the first place to look if a fuse reset does not work.
I had mine changed under warranty. They are about £300 each from memory ( i got a notional bill discounted to nil) and need to be factory supplied to match the car ( which sound a bit OTT as it is a closed network so I cant see conceptually why you can just plug them in).
The new ones do not support dipping mirrors on reverse, but apparently they don't go wrong all the time either!
Good luck.

After speaking to HWM, I decided to pull the fuse instead of disconecting the battery. It turned out to be much easier than I remembered. I suppose that when you are doing something for the second time, it is much easier.I had mine changed under warranty. It only took about 15 minutes. IIRC, it took me an hour the last time.
The window is now working. The strange beeps are gone (but I am not sure that pulling the fuse affected this). I suspect that the wing mirrors are also fixed - I will report back after the weekend.
