I'm very tempted to yes, but I think it will be down to the rain holding off. I will check the forecast on Sat night and make a decision then I think.

219 people signed up so far, of which 17 are Aston's.
(Currently that makes Aston's the largest registered group!)

Cant believe nobody else from here is going to what is a pretty big (and good) northern meeting??? confused

Now 272 cars, including 20 Astons! (21 if I go, which looking at the weather forecast is now likely.)

The Enemy just came downstairs from the pit, I mentioned it might be nice to go, and she instructed me otherwise.

See you all on Sunday!

Well I'm going - just bought my ticket.

Hopefully see one or more of you there, although judging by the tumbleweed response to this thread I'm guessing not! rolleyes

Hi Adam,
Was that your white v12v there? Very nice car, does it have a non standard front grille?

I was only there for about an hour but seemed a reasonable collection of cars with the usual varied mix.

Hiya

Yes, that was me, juxta posed parked right next to the DB2/4 - the most stunning car there if you ask me! (and driven and owned by the very lovely & now elderly Jack Tordoff - owner/former ceo of JCT600 group.)

Yes its a new carbon edition grille, i had it fitted on friday (hence why it was gleaming new) as a foc warranty swapout for my std dark grey grille which had strangely chipped heavily after just 2000miles. Quite pleased with it, but its not really much darker / different than the one i had before.

You should have come over n said hello, i tried to speak to as many people as i could but actually found a lot of people were fairly reserved this time?

That was a very nice DB2 - when I was over by the Astons, most cars seemed to have been abandoned by the owners. Was chatting to the guy who had his vintage Aston for 50 years! The grille really suited the car and made it look that bit more special.

I was only there about 45 mins as I had a family function to attend, hence I'd not put in for showing my car but they did let me in with my loan V8 Convertible, so that was on show for a short time (one of Jack Tordoff's cars!)

I went about 3 or 4 years ago.

It certainly lives up to it's title : It's cars and they are indeed in a park.

That's why I've not bothered since.
