Advice Please - Stop my DB9 Beeping at me...
Discussion
It started a couple of weeks ago,...when I turn on the ignition (and prior to starting) it beeps for a couple of seconds. No indication on dash as to why. Originally, thought it was PATS related (passive anti theft) bur manual indicates red light will flash if there is an error - it doesn't (also tried my second key and still the same).
Tempted to do a hard reset but don't want to because I'll need to get the auto fold mirrors reprogrammed.
Any thoughts?...

A propos your title Tony I have no idea why it is doing it but that constant high pitch beep is not on my DB9, and I've attracted my fair share of dogs

Thanks for your input, anyhow. At least it proves I have not entirely lost it.

For those coming across similar issues in the future...
The cause of the beep turned out to be a faulty parking sensor (or parking sensor module).
Yes, this thread is a decade old, but thank you @thetees for coming back and letting us know what the problem was. I had this exact issue on the weekend. Saved me a lot of time troubleshooting. The cause of the beep turned out to be a faulty parking sensor (or parking sensor module).
