Carbon fibre aftermarket wheels.

Actually sounds like they're pretty good, but a touch chavy, and bloody expensive.

I saw some carbon fibre wheels for a race bike this weekend. They were seriously light! I don't mind carbon fibre when it's used for a good weight saving reason, I despise it when it's used as chavvy tat bolted to the car for no reason whatsoever.

They still look st though, and I can't imagine they're much good when you hit a pothole (which you inevitably will with the awful state of the roads).

Thats most the current AM offerings out the window hehe
Pointless trying to use them on the road, they are track wheels.

I imagine potholes would not be too much of a problem. As long as the stress is in the right plane, then. Curbing or sliding into a curb etc, now that would be a major issue.
