I have just had a set of sports pack alloys fitted to my car thumbup

However, I also had to have 2 new front tyres because the technician found that both of my front tyres had deep cracks in all the treads see below for just one photo mad

Nick, I love my car, and will be getting the N400 sills done end of next month. I will also be getting the front valance re-sprayed and then some armour guard coating to the front valance the sills and half way up the rear wheel arches. Hopefully that will stop the stone chip problems.thumbup

Regarding the tyres, I purchased the car in January this year, so not too sure how old they are, but they had plenty of tread left on them.

On the sidewall of tyres there is a week number and year which details when the tyre was manufactured.
It usually says
DOT 1513

Which would indicate week 15 in 2013

Odd. She definitely had new tyres 18 months ago as when I sold her they were shot. The sills will enhance her looks even more yes as for stone chips I've given up, can't stop hitting wildlife let alone stones rolleyes

When I got her in January, they had just put a brand new set of rear tyres on her, so that was a plus. I have contacted the dealer and they said they would go half on the front tyres, so at least I will get something back.

I know what you mean about the stone chips I have been using the Chipex stuff like its going out of fashion. eek I did think that the armour guard might give me a little more protection. idea

About the wild life....I had to drive up to Cumbria last weekend. driving I had only driven about 4 miles when this sleepy blackbird (it was 05.30) just sat in the road. I thought that it would just fly away..... nope, straight under the front of the car, scensoredt and feathers in the air. I did think about the unfortunate mishap you had, so I pulled over and had a quick look, no damage or things stuck in the front of my car thumbup

Good point pal, too many. Well, the sun was shining, the beer was cheap......what I meant to say was completely 'transforms' the car. Into what, I'm not sure. You know me and booze, not good.....
