Recently my phone option on Center console has disappeared. I took the sim out and tried in a phone and ok. I don't even get no sim inserted on the Center console screen.
I've checked some fuses but all seems ok.
Why would this suddenly happen? Also when the stereo/CD is on every few seconds it goes off for a millisecond and back on again as if trying to find a signal? Do you think this could be something to do with why my phone option isn't working? Anyone else had this happen?

Cheers

Try this

This reset the Bluetooth module in my car, although Mine is a 2008 MY, so it does not have the Sim holder only the Bluetooth module

Did try that and looked at other fuses too but no joy :-(
The phone part doesn't bother me too much it's more when radio or cd are on that you keep getting an interruption every 30 seconds as if something is trying to find a signal.

I saw this once on a 2006 db9 and cured by updating the software on the phone module. The same module was also used by jaguar and caused lots of locking up issues we used to disconnect the module for ten minutes to hard reset it might be worth a try

Try a battery disconnect, this should do the same job.
