Daft Question - Multi Storey Car Parks
Discussion
Daft answers also appreciated but I have been asked about ground clearance on the ramps in multi storey car parks.
Now I understand that they are buildings where people who don't have private chauffeur parking go and park their cars so doubt many AM's find their way inside these buildings but let's say for example they did - would a V12V be able to get to the top without causing any ground clearance issues on the ramps.

Sadly Waitrose in Wandsworth doesn't have valet parking, and unless you do the approach-at-an-angle trick, the bottom of the front splitter scrapes on a V8V.
You can't always come at ramps at an angle, unless you like doing three point turns, to a chorus of honking from outraged yummy mummies.
Speaking of which... I'm always tempted to park in the pushchair / child parking spaces on the ground floor (no ramps, natch), but not sure anyone would believe it with a Vantage, and don't want my door keyed for being a cock.

I do the school run in mine a couple of days a week with my eldest, so I have a booster seat. I have gone to Waitrose with him, parked, got those looks and then displayed the child to their befuddled embarrassment. You can't always come at ramps at an angle, unless you like doing three point turns, to a chorus of honking from outraged yummy mummies.

I had a similar experience a few weeks back. I parked in the child spot, the driver in the car next to me shaking his head and mouthing a nice gesture to me :-) He didnt realise I had my little one in with me (1yr old). He didnt appologise but looked away and probably felt very stupid after I lifted her out!!! Zod said:

Tempting, but it's a high price to pay just to get a wider parking space without glares

I'm only a few days into DB9 ownership but I'm pleasantly surprised by the amount of space required to open the doors. I've come from a Mercedes E350 Cab and the doors were long and therefore wide when opened. Like others on here I'll be using mine for everything from shopping, kids runs, commuting etc. I don't see much point in having a car and not driving it.
Haven't tried a multistory car park yet but I braved the kids nursery entrance which when approached 'enthusiastically' will even cause the Mrs' B-class to ground. Took it slowly and all was good (just).

Waking up a verrrrry old thread.
Need to go to Heathrow next week, and fly out of T3. For convenience, seems like multi-storey is the only option as the business park+ride is closed. I'd like to take the V12V with me for other days that week, rather than a less interesting S3.
Any views on whether Heathrow car parks will hammer the front carbon splitter? I don't care if the underside scrapes a bit, as long as it's intact, ;-)
