Vantage Boot Latch

Has anyone already encountered the rear boot latch not closing anymore...
Mine seems to stay open whatever I tried.
Any ideas ? - Except taking the car back to dealer (a 4h round-trip for me)
Anybody knows where it comes from ? Ford ?

I had the same thing with the boot on my Vanquish. It turned out to be the emergency pull in the boot was caught in a funny position by the carpet and was therefore being pulled all the time. Do you have such a thing inside the Vantage?

Have you tried lubricating the latch?
Is the remote release working / stuck?

The emergency pull was indeed slightly out of position... I now remember knocking my laptop case when closing the boot this morning...
