After owning a couple of V8 Vantages and a DB9 I really fancy a DBS TT.
I've been watching values for a bit now and they seem to be slipping quite rapidly recently and I was wondering If I should hold off for a bit or will values stabilise soon?

Any advice would be appreciated

Cheers Tom

are they all slipping? Seems the early manual cars have, probably because they're pretty much all the same colour and spec. Love the Storm black myself, so keeping an eye on them.

ok, just looked and with a few TT in the mid-80's I guess they are too.

In answer to your question though, I have no idea smile

Very true. But not always at the same rate.

I bought mine exactly a year ago almost, the retail value is not much lower looking at the prices of the diminishing stock compared to last year .Similar spec/mileage cars were 85-87k last year, now they are about £80k .
There would always be 45-50 for sale as well ,now there are 35 for sale on ph.

But you can't worry about such stuff if you buy cars like these, just enjoy them .

Funny to see the metallic blue Cortina GXL. I was reminded of selling our 1974 metallic blue car, in about 1995. It still provided transport, but I became concerned about rust underneath.

What surprised me, was the demand. There was a queue of buyers, who were all looking for a 20 year old old GXL.
How odd - not a car for my collection.

Tricky one this. I bought mine 18 months ago for a few quid short of six figures. Since then she has been through the following:-

Gazebogate
Gravelgate
Smallfrenchbirdgate
Pheasantgate

On top of this she has been driven by cockernee and now covered 13500 spirited miles.

By my calculation she is worth a round of drinks, a Mars Bar and a balloon.

However WTF do I care. It's an AM DBS and it really doesn't matter. If you are serious MTFU and get one on your drive smile

OK, as its you, I'll give you a round of drinks, an Extra large Mars bar, a helium filled ballon and a bag of gravel for it.
I'll pick it up Saturday

Once you have found the car at the right price and bought it next week you will find one cheaper if you search hard enough.
Just buy one and don't worry about the depreciation it's pointless

Newer DBS prices will take a hit as more used 13my DB9 filter onto the market. You can already find a used 2013 new 9 for sub 120k and there is still dealer stock 2011 DBS at 115k..... No way that can be sustained IMO. Of course the earlier cars will be affected less and are starting to look good value. Best of luck with your search smile
