Hi Steve
I managed to de-chrome the car around the window frames and hood in about 30mins just to see what it would look like, so not done too thoroughly.
Used a roll of black insulation tape. cost of £1.50.
Never took it off till I sold it and was still stuck fast after 8 months.
Have done my new one but not sure it looks as good with Meteorite Silver as it did with the black one.
And for the sake of those that hate the wheels they were sold!!!!!
Let me know if you want to see one done in Meteorite silver btw

If you use the normal electrical insulating tape it does not need to be trimmed as its the perfect width, you just have to be patient.
Let me know if you struggle.
