I recognise the plate for some reason, is it one of you guys?
Stunning V12 Vantage soft top in blue (glacier?) parked at the top of my road for a couple of days now (outside Robbs Garage on the Wirral - automatic gearbox specialist).
I do hope it's not having problems.
Just driven past it again and the sun is out, what a stunning motor.
That is all really.

I'm no AM pro but it has the bonnet vents etc.
Swapping the bonnet appears to be a good modification.4·3 V8VR plus VENTED BONNET equals V12VR (Mistaken for).

Also rather depends on what you mean by "vents" as all Vantages have vents (as in two small metal vents), only the V12V has the 2 large + 2 small carbon fibre vents!
Yes Adam, I know the details. The modification might be a tempting project for some owners. It probably would not even need a change of bonnet, for a skilled panel/paintshop.
It was the mistaken identity that was interesting.
If the car is still parked there AB (OP), we would love to see a photograph showing the car and bonnet.
Just leaving the house, bit dark out still but if its there I will do so. Won't be back until it's dark tonight either so no promises.
Doubting myself now in terms of vents, I know the differences but my brain originally told me it was definitely a V12 and that it had the V12 vents. Maybe it didn't.

The V12V bonnet is also a slightly different shape with a higher "power bulge". The modification might be a tempting project for some owners. It probably would not even need a change of bonnet, for a skilled panel/paintshop.
